HOW we WORK
design
Through a series of site visits, research, and meetings, I will work with the client to create conceptual design options. Once a concept is agreed upon, more site visits and studies are conducted to complete a masterplan, which is finalizes the layout, material choices, and planting scheme. Details can include specific planting, lighting, irrigation, carpentry, hardscape and paving, grading and drainage, pool layout, pergolas, arbors, fences, gates… the list goes on! Using this information, I can then request proposals, collect bids, and with the client, select a contractor.
CONSTRUCTION
Construction management includes creating necessary documents for permitting, managing the bidding process, liaising between client and contractor, plant sourcing (which I do to ensure design intent), site management, and plant layout. Time and resources for this aspect of the work vary from project to project.
