Excavation in progress. Discovered rock ledge. Decided to use ledge as wall and omit the proposed concrete retaining walls from project :) Also keeping all excavated boulders on site for retaining oak tree roots and other retaining needs around the slope. Major wins when we can eliminate new materials and save mass from going to the landfill!
